Unsubstantiated threat being investigated

March 12, 2010, 11:20 a.m.

There is a report of an unsubstantiated bomb threat received at the New Chemistry Building construction site on Princeton's campus.

Township Police and area law enforcement agencies are investigating, along with the Department of Public Safety, and continue to perform an assessment of the immediate site, which has been evacuated as a precaution. Public Safety is issuing instructions to the affected population as more information becomes available.

Public Safety has determined that there is no imminent threat, but out of an abundance of caution, Public Safety advises individuals occupying the south side of the Jadwin Hall physics building to remain away from the windows purely as a precautionary measure.
