Members of the Student Environmental Communication Network explore the significance of open spaces and profile a group working to preserve natural areas around Princeton.

This video profiles Princeton’s U-Bikes program and the Cyclab, which support sustainable transportation on campus. U-Bikes is a student-run organization that rents refurbished bicycles to students, faculty and staff for $15 per semester. The Cyclab, a cooperative repair shop, maintains the bicycles used by the U-Bikes group.

Campus sustainability efforts expand over summer .

Along streams and lakes and inside offices and classrooms, Princeton students, faculty and staff could be found working this summer to help the University meet its long-term sustainability goals.

A power outage in the town of Princeton on Wednesday evening has affected a number of buildings along the western edge of the Princeton campus and several University-owned residences off campus.
