The academic year at Princeton starts in the warmth of September as new and returning students come to campus full of aspirations. Over the next several months, the campus is a hive of activity, as students study, pursue extracurricular interests and build friendships. Traditional bonfire sparks Princeton spirit .

Princeton students, faculty, staff and alumni celebrated the University's achievement in football this fall with a traditional bonfire on Cannon Green on Saturday, Nov. 17.

For second straight year, bonfire to celebrate Princeton football .

The Princeton University community is gearing up to celebrate the achievements of its football team this fall with a bonfire on Cannon Green, to be lit at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24. This is the second year in a row Princeton has swept Harvard and Yale in football in a season, leading to the bonfire, a campus tradition that dates to the late 1800s.

"Japanese Views of East and West: Imprinting the Other in Meiji Eyes," an exhibition of color woodblock prints focusing on the country's perceptions of other cultures, will be on view at the University Art Museum through Jan. 7.

Thirteen Princetonians to compete in Rio Olympics for USA, Canada .

Two Princeton students and 11 alumni athletes are heading to Rio de Janeiro to participate in the 2016 Olympic Games opening Friday, Aug. 5. Three University coaches will also be at the games.
