UPDATE: Small fire in Jadwin Hall extinguished

A small fire on a heating element in the glassblower shop in Jadwin Hall prompted the evacuation of about 75 people from the building at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1.

The fire was extinguished shortly thereafter by the University's Public Safety officers and Site Protection staff. Teams from Princeton Fire Department and the Office of Environmental Health and Safety inspected the building and cleared it for occupation shortly before 8 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
