‘She Roars’ talks with host of Princeton’s new environmental podcast

Catherine Riihimaki

The latest episode of the “She Roars” podcast features Catherine Riihimaki, host of “All for Earth,” discussing the themes and surprises of Princeton’s new environmental podcast.

Launching today, “All for Earth” is about the broad-based mobilization of people around the world who are racing time to prevent the impending implosion of the interconnected systems that support life on Earth. It features interviews with activists, scientists, financial innovators, policy experts, NGO leaders, food specialists and more.

Catherine knows a lot about this cohort: she’s one of them. As a geoscientist and a science communications expert with the Princeton Council on Science and Technology, Catherine conducts her own research and works with colleagues across the University to educate a STEM-literate society. That work involves formal and informal channels, including classes, workshops, the innovative StudioLab and now podcasts.

The “All for Earth” podcast was launched to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Princeton Environmental Institute (PEI) and podcast guests are largely Princeton alumni environmental leaders. “All for Earth” will be released weekly between now and Oct. 24 when PEI begins its formal anniversary celebration with a two-day forum held on campus.  Several of the “All for Earth” podcast guests will be speaking at the conference.
