Matteo

Jim Matteo is the Vice President for Finance and Treasurer of Princeton University. Prior to joining Princeton in February 2019, he was the Associate Vice President and Treasurer at the University of Virginia, having worked there since 2005. Prior to that he worked in the internal audit and finance divisions at PPL Corporation in Allentown, PA.

Jim actively volunteers in the higher education community. He is the board chair for the Treasury Institute for Higher Education and has served on the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) Research Universities Council, NACUBO Awards Council and NACUBO-Commonfund Study of Endowments Advisory Board.

Jim and his wife, Kristin, are native Pennsylvanians and have two daughters – Avery and Kyra.
