DiScho Discovery Hours: Translating secondary sources
DiScho Discovery Hour is a weekly session where PUL's Digital Scholarship Specialists explore creative approaches to scholarship using technology. During this hour, anyone in the Princeton community is welcome to engage with our team as a Specialist hosts a session in the Commons Library Curiosity Studio.
In this session, we will discuss a common need to translate secondary works in a language that you do not know. This often occurs when there are essential works in your field of study that you would like to understand and cite. We'll cover methods for scanning and extracting text from secondary sources for translation. We'll also consider copyright and other professional concerns.
