Princeton University Chapel Choir traveled to Prague, Vienna and Budapest for their 2011 intersession tour.

Video feature: 'Princeton University Chapel Choir' .

The Princeton University Chapel Choir's recent tour of Europe started with a truly high-flying performance. This video feature follows the adventures of the Chapel Choir during its Jan. 22-30 intersession tour of Prague, Vienna and Budapest. Within the first few hours of the trip, members of the choir performed for the passengers and crew on their British Airways flight, as the aisles of the Boeing 777 were packed with people listening to the choir's rendition of James Lucas' "Bright Morning Stars."

Barrett, Kasdin awarded Pyne Prize .

Princeton seniors Joe Barrett and Izzy Kasdin have been named co-winners of the University's 2014 Moses Taylor Pyne Honor Prize, the highest general distinction conferred on an undergraduate.

Student Work: 'The Tempest' .

Seniors Lily Akerman and Samantha Ritter will stage a production of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9, and Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 14 to 16, in the Matthews Acting Studio, 185 Nassau St. Akerman will play the lead role of Caliban in this senior thesis project, which features marionettes created by Ritter, who studied marionette making in Prague. Tickets are available by calling University ticketing at 609-258-9220 or in person at the Frist Campus Center Box Office.

The Lewis Center for the Arts presents a senior thesis production "A Steady Rain" at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, to Sunday, Jan. 13, at the Marie and Edward Matthews '53 Acting Studio, 185 Nassau St.

Princeton senior Cherskov awarded Gates Cambridge Scholarship .

Adriana Cherskov, a Princeton University senior who hopes to advance treatments for complex disorders such as autism, has been awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. The award gives outstanding students from outside the United Kingdom the opportunity to pursue postgraduate study at the University of Cambridge.
