Four faculty members recognized for outstanding teaching .

Four Princeton University faculty members received President's Awards for Distinguished Teaching at Commencement ceremonies Tuesday, June 3. They are: Simon Gikandi, the Robert Schirmer Professor of English; Claire Gmachl, the Eugene Higgins Professor of Electrical Engineering; Anthony Grafton, the Henry Putnam University Professor of History; and Robert Sandberg, lecturer in English, theater and the Lewis Center for the Arts.

Four Princeton faculty members received President's Awards for Distinguished Teaching at Commencement ceremonies June 6. They are: William Bialek, the John Archibald Wheeler/Battelle Professor in Physics; Joel Cooper, professor of psychology; William Gleason, associate professor of English; and Sankaran (Sundar) Sundaresan, professor of chemical engineering.

They are: Mitchell Duneier, professor of sociology; Eddie Glaude, the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African American Studies; Sharad Malik, the George Van Ness Lothrop Professor in Engineering and director of the Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education; and Valerie Smith, the Woodrow Wilson Professor of Literature and director of the Center for African American Studies.

Four Princeton University faculty members received President's Awards for Distinguished Teaching at Commencement ceremonies Tuesday, May 31. They are: Michael Cook, the Class of 1943 University Professor of Near Eastern Studies; Robert George, the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and professor of politics; Brian Kernighan, professor of computer science; and Celeste Nelson, associate professor of chemical and biological engineering.
