Buddhist chant group will perform ritual song and dance

Buddhist monks and nuns from Korea will perform an evening of ritual song and dance, "The Sound of Ecstasy and the Nectar of Enlightenment: Buddhist Ritual Song & Dance from Korea," at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, in the University Chapel.

Ceremony honoring James Johnson arch invokes 'ancestors who can galvanize community' .

An ancestral remembrance ceremony — featuring students in the course "The American Dance Experience and Africanist Dance Practices" — was held Oct. 22 in the easternmost arch of East Pyne Hall, named for James Collins Johnson, a former enslaved man who worked on campus for more than 60 years before his death in 1902.

Alumni will return to campus for Reunions 2014 .

Nearly 25,000 Princeton University alumni, family and friends are expected on campus Thursday through Sunday, May 29-June 1, for Reunions 2014.
