Six faculty members have been named to endowed professorships. They are:
- Fernando Coda Santos Cavalcanti Marques, the Henry Burchard Fine Professor of Mathematics, effective Feb. 1.
- Angela Creager, the Thomas M. Siebel Professor in the History of Science, Professor of History, effective July 1.
- Mihalis Dafermos, the Thomas D. Jones Professor of Mathematical Physics, effective July 1.
- Yakov Sinai, the Henry Burchard Fine Professor of Mathematics, effective July 1.
- Sankaran Sundaresan, the Norman John Sollenberger Professor in Engineering, Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, effective July 1.
- Yu Xie, the Bert G. Kerstetter '66 University Professor of Sociology and the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, effective Aug. 1.
