UPDATE: Power back on at 701 Carnegie Center

5 p.m.: Power was restored to the 701 Carnegie Center late Thursday afternoon, Feb. 25, and operations are returning to normal in the building.

8 a.m.: The 701 Carnegie Center, the building which houses the Office of Finance and Treasury and the Office of Information Technology, is closed today, Feb, 25, due to a loss of power to the entire building.

Anyone needing assistance from staff in the Office of Finance and Treasury should reach out to them via email, or contact the Financial Service Center at (609) 258-3080 or finance@princeton.edu. The Financial Service Center is located at 7 New South and will be open and fully operational today.

OIT systems are up and running, and the Help Desk can be reached through the usual means at (609) 258-HELP or helpdesk@princeton.edu.

Power is expected to be restored to 701 Carnegie Center by late this afternoon, and staff should be able to return to the building for shifts this evening and Friday.

Because of severe weather related to Hurricane Sandy, Princeton University will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30, except for critical and essential staff. If weather permits, additional critical campus functions may be opened on Tuesday.
