Luke Gamble, finding growth and community through tennis

In his four years as a member of the varsity tennis team, Princeton senior Luke Gamble has achieved in the classroom, succeeded on the court, and served in the community.

When Luke Gamble first visited Princeton, he was concerned about balancing his academic interests in reading and English with his devotion to tennis, according to men's tennis head coach Billy Pate.

In the video above, Gamble and Pate share their perspectives on how both interests led to Gamble's development as a player, scholar and person during his four years at the University.

"You get all this extra time in a really sort of intimate environment with other student-athletes who are also really
smart people, and who also care about their studies. And so it's actually complemented my academic life in a really
cool way," said Gamble, of Boise, Idaho.
