Princeton undergraduate Chester Lam dies in New York City

Chester Lam, a member of the Class of 2019, died Friday, Jan. 12, at a hospital in New York City. He was 20 years old.

Lam was from Morganville, New Jersey, and was a graduate of High Technology High School in Lincroft, New Jersey. At Princeton, he was a computer science major. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father and an older brother.

The University has extended condolences to the family. No memorial service is planned.
