This video features a unique exhibition of sculptures, photo collages and site-specific installations by Princeton University Dean of the Faculty David Dobkin, a self-identified amateur artist who collects and creatively repurposes a vast array of things from daily life. The exhibition, presented by the Lewis Center for the Arts and titled "Myself, I Think We Should Keep Collecting Titles," is on display through Oct. 4 at the Lucas Gallery at 185 Nassau St.

The Program in Visual Arts is presenting "Student Art: Work From the Fall 2007 Semester," a group show featuring ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing and photography, through Friday, Feb. 15, in the Lucas Gallery, 185 Nassau St.

Visual arts exhibition highlights student work .

A sprawling exhibition of artwork by students in the Program in Visual Arts in the Lewis Center for the Arts will be on view from May 19 through June 4 at 185 Nassau St. "Student Art: Work From the Spring 2008 Semester" highlights selected pieces from each of the courses offered this spring, including installations, paintings, ceramics, sculptures, photographs, drawings, and intaglio and relief prints.

Peter Lewis to give $101 million to advance the arts at Princeton .

Peter B. Lewis, a 1955 graduate and trustee of Princeton University, will contribute $101 million to support a major new initiative to enhance the role of the creative and performing arts in the life of the University and its community. The gift was announced by President Shirley M. Tilghman following Jan. 20 meetings of the University's Board of Trustees.

Jaewon Choi's visual arts senior thesis project explores the boundaries of painting on a very large scale. Meanwhile, her physics thesis project examines the origins of light on the largest scale imaginable. A video documenting Choi's first solo art exhibition, "Frogs + Forms," follows her process in creating a monumental 16-foot-wide by 8-foot-high painting.

University to showcase green initiatives at Sustainability Open House .

The latest campus and local community green initiatives will be showcased at Princeton University's Sustainability Open House from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Chancellor Green.
