Princeton's BodyHype Dance Company enthusiastically embraces a variety of styles, including ballet, hip-hop and modern.

Imagine four dancers in a studio. Each has a different story that brought them into the dance community at Princeton University; each has a different major and different career aspirations. All have been rehearsing since September four to five hours weekly in preparation for the Lewis Center for the Arts' 2015 Spring Dance Festival. They are among over 50 Princeton undergraduates who will appear in the festival.

diSiac Dance Company, a Princeton University student group established in 1998, welcomes dancers with a variety of backgrounds — from various dance styles to different levels of experience, and from all corners of campus. This spring, as the group prepared for its show "Novum," students worked with the staff of Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall as part of the venue's new Student Artist in Residence program.

Ballet Folklórico de Princeton's annual show will highlight the vibrant dress and unique folk dancing traditions of México, April 3 and 4 at Frist Campus Center theater.

DiSiac performance features 'Elements' of dance .

The diSiac Dance Co. will perform its annual fall semester show, "Elements," at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, and at 7 and 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Berlind Theatre.

Student work: Naacho performs 'Raaz' .

Naacho performed "Raaz: A Story of Secret Love," for their annual show, which featured a variety of Indian dance styles from traditional to fusion, March 5-7.
