FACULTY AWARD: Holmes named industrial and applied math society fellow

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) has named Philip Holmes, Princeton's Eugene Higgins Professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, to its 2011 class of fellows for his "extensive contributions to nonlinear dynamics." Holmes and other fellows will be recognized in July at the 7th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics in Vancouver, British Columbia.
