Washington Road reopened

Washington Road, which was closed briefly between Prospect Avenue and Faculty Road due to police activity, has been reopened.

Individuals traveling to the Princeton University campus may experience delays Monday, Oct. 31, because of road closures caused by the storm that moved trough the area over the weekend. The Stanworth Apartments graduate housing complex also is experiencing power failures.

Streicker Bridge begins to rise amid summer construction .

The framework of the new pedestrian bridge spanning Washington Road will emerge as part of a series of summer construction projects that also includes continued progress on the new Chemistry Building and the completion of the Butler College renovation.

UPDATE: Gas leak disrupts traffic on Washington Road near Frist Campus Center .

Vehicular and pedestrian traffic was diverted off Washington Road between Ivy Lane and Prospect Avenue as a PS&G crew works to stop a natural gas leak near Frist Campus Center.

Summer construction includes completion of three new facilities .

Crews will work this summer to put the finishing touches on three additions to the Princeton campus -- the Lewis Library, a new building bridging engineering and the social sciences, and Roberts Stadium -- while progressing on several other construction projects.

UPDATED: Alexander Street and University Place intersection to reopen on Monday, Feb. 3 .

On Monday, Feb. 3, construction crews will reopen the intersection of Alexander Street and University Place to vehicular traffic.

Partial Faculty Road closure July 11-16 will affect traffic, Dinky service .

Beginning this week, construction on Faculty Road by NJ TRANSIT will affect traffic patterns and Dinky service. From 5 a.m. Friday, July 11, through the evening rush hour Wednesday, July 16, Faculty Road will be closed from Alexander Street to Elm Drive due to the construction of grade crossing improvements and road and sidewalk improvements.
