FACULTY AWARD: Currie recognized for advancing status of women in economics

Janet Currie, the Henry Putnam Professor of Economics and Public Affairs, chair of the Department of Economics and director of Princeton's Center for Health and Wellbeing, has been selected to receive the 2015 Carolyn Shaw Bell Award by the American Economic Association's Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession. The award recognizes her work to advance the status of women in economics. The award will be presented to Currie on Jan. 3 in San Francisco.
