2017 Bipartisan Health Policy Leadership Award winners

Uwe Reinhardt (from left), Edward G. Grossman, Gail Wilensky, Arielle Woronoff and James “J.P.” Paluskiewicz were chosen to receive the 2017 Bipartisan Health Policy Leadership Award from the National Alliance of Health Policy. They are joined by Alliance President and CEO Sarah Dash and Alliance Board Chairman Robert Graham.

Uwe Reinhardt is a winner of the 2017 Bipartisan Health Policy Leadership Award from the National Alliance of Health Policy. The award recognizes honorees who exemplify the values of bipartisan collaboration and dedication to improving the nation’s health system.

Recognized as one of the nation’s leading authorities on health care economics, Reinhardt is the James Madison Professor of Political Economy and professor of economics and public affairs. He received his award Oct. 3 at the Alliance’s 25th anniversary celebration in Washington, D.C.

The Alliance for Health Policy, formerly the Alliance for Health Reform, is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping policymakers understand the foundations of health policy, the roots of the nation’s health care issues, and the trade-offs posed by various proposals for change.
