In 1973, a short film about Princeton University went from being viewed at admission and alumni events to winning an Oscar at the Academy Awards. Forty years later, "Princeton: A Search for Answers" will be one of the documentaries featured at the Museum of Modern Art's annual Oscar film series on Sunday, Feb. 3, in New York City.

Symposium at Princeton focuses on higher education among black Americans .

A symposium designed to highlight important developments and achievements of black people in America will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at the Friend Center on the Princeton University campus. The event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.

'Coming Back' conference brings together University's black alumni .

The "Coming Back: Reconnecting Princeton's Black Alumni" conference, held Oct. 16-18, offered Princeton University's black alumni the opportunity to return to campus to participate in intellectual and social offerings. More than 750 undergraduate and graduate alumni and guests attended the conference — representing classes from 1962 to 2014, coming from more than 30 states and at least six other nations.

At the largest gathering of black alumni in the University's history last weekend, emotions overflowed as people talked about change -- Princeton's transformation from their time as students and the transformation they can bring about through continued engagement. "It's very obvious to me that the Princeton of 2009 is very different from the Princeton of 1983, and even the Princeton of 2006," said Ken Bruce, a member of the class of 1983 and a past president of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

'Too Cute' conference on Asian style at Princeton University, March 3-4 .

Scholars and artists from around the world will come together for a conference titled "Too Cute: American Style and the New Asian Cool," on Wednesday and Thursday, March 3-4, on the Princeton University campus. The conference is free and open to the public.
