What's the best thing about Whitman College? 

Whitman College is one of Princeton University's six residential colleges. Completed in fall 2007 and named after Princeton 1977 alumna Meg Whitman, the college houses and advises first-year students, sophomores, juniors and seniors. In this video, students share some highlights of living in the Collegiate Gothic complex.

A window onto Princeton's Whitman College .

A tour of Whitman College that begins with a bird's-eye view from the top floor of Lauritzen Hall reveals the massive scope of this project. Construction of the University's sixth residential college, at 255,000 square feet, is the largest single building project undertaken by the University in many years, according to John Ziegler, assistant to the vice president for facilities and project director. Work began in 2004 and will be finished in time for occupancy this fall.

Residential life remodeled: Princeton moves into new four-year college system .

A new era in residential life at Princeton, years in the making, dawns this fall with the launch of the University's four-year residential college system. The opening of Whitman College, the University's sixth residential college, is the most visible element of a massive campuswide effort to enable undergraduates from all four classes and graduate students to more closely share their Princeton experiences.

New hall at Whitman College will honor class of 1981 .

For the first time at Princeton University, a class that graduated after World War II will have a dormitory named in its honor. The new 1981 Hall, a gift from members of the class of 1981, will be located within the Whitman College residential complex, now under construction, and also will become the first dormitory to honor a co-educational class.
