Employee retirements: October 2021

The following is an updated list of University employee retirements.

Effective August 28: in Building Services, custodian William Dorsey White, after 32 years.

Effective September 1: in the University Library-Special Collections, librarian Julie Mellby, after 16 years; in Campus Dining, food service worker Nola Shephard, after 13 years.

Effective September 30: in University Advancement-Recording Secretary, assistant director Robin Reed, after 28 years.

Effective October 2: in Chemical and Biological Engineering, assistant finance and grants manager Mary Beth Friedfeld, after 14 years; in the Office of Capital Projects, executive director of administration John Ziegler, after 19 years.

Effective October 9: in Molecular Biology, manager, department administration and lab services Linda Berkowitz, after 14 years.

Effective October 20: in Electrical and Computer Engineering, academic support III Linda Marie Dreher, after 20 years.

Effective October 30: in University Health Services, client service representative Carol Gallagher, after 26 years.

Effective November 17: in the University Library-Finance & Administration, library office assistant II Laura Anne Curbishley, after 36 years.

Effective November 26: in University Health Services, nurse's aide Gwendolyn Wilson, after 32 years.
